Its self-loading hopper has an open top and can be used as a bucket to efficiently fill the spreader from a pile rather than pour material into the top. With a hopper volume of 8 cubic feet and a spread pattern that is controlled by three material flow gates, operators can spread material from 18 to 28 feet. Bobcat also offers two cargo box-mounted spreaders designed for Bobcat® utility vehicles and Toolcat™ utility work machines, the SP9 and SP13, respectively. These tough, stainless-steel units allow for consistent, controlled material spread pattern of up to 30 feet, and they feature dash-mounted controls that are convenient and easy to use.
