The cooling compartment features a high efficiency, centrifugal style cooling fan which improves fuel economy for the powerful Cummins QSB7-G9 engine.Equipped with separately-excited, brushless alternators, the PG240 has the motor starting capability required to power tower cranes, rock crushers and oilfield equipment, while the solid-state automatic voltage regulators provide the precise voltage control needed in sensitive applications like concerts, film production and special events.To maximize uptime and jobsite productivity, the Bobcat PG240 portable generator can go up to 500 hours between fluid and filter changes, minimizing overall maintenance time.
