MBW WS500 Concrete Other

WS500 — SCREEDEMON VIBRATORY WET SCREED At MBW, every product is designed with a focus on improving industry challenges. Portable wet screeds have traditionally faced three major issues:MECHANICALWet screeds often suffer from high maintenance due to complex drive mechanisms connecting the engine to the exciter. The ScreeDemon™ eliminates these issues by using simple, durable, and cost-effective rubber isolators to drive the eccentric, reducing maintenance needs significantly.FUNCTIONALITYConventional screed and bar combinations often lead to uneven vibration along the bar’s length, causing inconsistent concrete compaction and uneven cream levels. The ScreeDemon’s magnesium bar, with its unique back-to-back triangular design, is exceptionally rigid, ensuring consistent vibration transmission across the entire screed. Unlike traditional designs that rely on bolts—susceptible to wear from concrete exposure—the ScreeDemon™ utilizes a simple clamp system. This eliminates the need for drilled holes, preventing bar weakening and making assembly or disassembly quick and effortless.OPERATOR HEALTH & SAFETYExcessive hand-arm vibration is a common issue with most wet screeds on the market. The ScreeDemon addresses this with a patented mount retention system that allows the use of low durometer isolators without compromising control. The result? Hand-arm vibration levels that are 50 to 90% lower than competing screeds, ensuring a safer and more comfortable experience for operators.•Variable throttle allows instant response to concrete conditions• Main handle walk-in design allows easy access to lifting points, tool-free adjustment, folds for easy transport and storage• Central lifting point is perfectly balanced with any length screed bar• 4-stroke engine Honda gx35• High strength cast aluminum frame with a total power unit weight of 29 lbs.• Patented dual level, anti-vibration system. Unique system reduces vibration transmitted to the operator yet allows complete control of the unit.• Clamping mechanism allows quick and easy attachment and has captured hardware• Magnesium screed bar lightweight. No cut-out or attached hardware. Easy cleanup. Available in 2 foot increments from 4’ to 24’• Sealed exciter with oversized bearings requires no maintenance• Attached tool is a 9/16 wrenchSince 1967, MBW has been at the fore front of manufacturing innovative com paction, concrete, and related equipment for the construction industry.WHAT SETS MBW APART?MBW doesn’t simply follow the crowd; we innovate.
