The exposed position of the rotor makes it easier to grasp material. The hydraulic STARFORST is ideal for land clearing and ROW maintenance like foresty management, cleaning after felling operations or power line maintenance. It mulches wood up to 40 cm [16 inch] in diameter. There are different types of guard frames to choose from for felling operations and to protect the tractor.STARFORST hyd is a powerful forestry mulcher with dual drive and 2 M-BOOST automatic variable displacement motors for delivery rates of 200-520 l/min. (depending on engine size). With a working speed of up to 5 km/h, it shreds wood up to 40 cm in diameter. The aggressive rotor, equipped with carbide tools, ensures maximum efficiency. This mulcher can be optionally equipped with a V-LOCK rotor to facilitate the tilling of tree stumps.
