SEPPI E20-150 DIRECT — FORESTRY MULCHER FOR EXCAVATORSPOWERFUL, LOW MAINTENANCE, AND DURABLEE20 direct is a powerful forestry mulcher for excavators from 12 to 21 tons. The direct drive eliminates wear-prone V-belts and ensures consistently high torque, which reduces maintenance. It is used for work on railway tracks and is also ideal for maintenance along gas and power lines. This mulching head mulches wood up to 20 cm (8″) in diameter with powerful fixed hammers, with CUT CONTROL interface limiter on request.MULCHING HEAD WITH DIRECT DRIVE ENABLES CONTINUOUS OPERATION The special feature of this model is that the hydraulic motor is coupled directly to the rotor without any additional components, which makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, e.g. in the railway sector. This ensures constant torque and eliminates the need for wear-prone belts, reducing downtime while increasing performance. Due to the direct connection, the motor is partially located inside the rotor. This helps to absorb vibrations traditionally sent through the carrier. The perfect fit and its self-lubricating feature ensure a long service life of the splined connection. The rotor was specially developed for heavy vertical loads while working reliably in any position.COMPACT DIRECT DRIVEThe E20 direct excavator mulcher is supplied with a powerful and efficient M-BOOST variable displacement motor that offers 40% more torque than standard motors.
